Pastor Kevin D. Willis served as the Professor of Biblical Studies and Church Administration at Bethel College, Hampton, VA. He taught for 14 years through May 2020. Kevin currently serves as Pastor and Chaplain at Ascent College. Kevin is the Prayer Leader at Bethel Temple, Hampton, VA, and Director of the Dream Prayer Network, founded in 2012. Kevin served as the Manager of the National Prayer Counseling Center of the Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), VA Beach, VA, 1998-2000. Kevin is a career Military Intelligence professional with over thirty years of combined active and civilian service. Kevin is a veteran of two combat tours in Grenada and Somalia. He retired from government service with the Army’s Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), as a Human Resources Specialist, on 31 December 2019. He spent the last five years of his career developing emerging leaders for senior leadership positions in the federal government. Kevin is a certified Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and Clifton Strengths Coach. Kevin holds graduate degrees from George Washington University in Public Administration, Regent University in Practical Theology, and a Bachelor’s degree from Howard University in English. Kevin has earned certificates in Executive Education from Harvard University, MA, and the Darden Graduate School of Business, University of VA. Kevin is married to fellow-former Washington, DC resident Vanessa Willis, and they have three daughters Gabrielle, Ivana, and Andrea, and a son, Kevin II. Both Kevin & Vanessa are ordained Assemblies of God ministers. Kevin’s mission statement is to develop leaders and mobilize believers to pray.
