Salvation is a simple process. God would not have it any other way. He made the process of salvation so simple that a child can understand it. God reveals Himself to those who humble themselves and are sincere in their desire to follow Him. God resists the proud but favors the humble. God will not reject those who come to Him. My friend the hour has come and the day has arrived for you to be saved!
Salvation begins with you confessing with your mouth that Jesus is Lord of all heaven and earth, and believing in your heart that God raised Him from the dead. The Bible says that if you do this you are saved! Here are the Bible verses I am referencing:
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:9-10).
Repeat these words with sincerity: “Lord I confess that I am a sinner in need of a Savior. I believe that you are Lord of all. I believe that God raised you from the dead. I now turn -repent- from my own ways to follow you.” Congratulations if you spoke and believed this in your heart, The Bible says you are saved. You have been born again! (John 3:3)
You have probably heard the verse: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have ever lasting life. (John 3:16)
The verse is now part of your story. Old things are passed away and all things have been made new. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
Christianity is about having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that develops and matures over time. Christianity is also walking in relationship with other believers. Find a good Bible believing church and attend regularly. Begin reading the Bible. I recommend you start with the gospel of John. Welcome to the family of God!
