The Dream Prayer Network (DPN) leverages digital technologies to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. (Mt 28:19-20) DPN was founded in 2012 to combat apathy and prayerlessness at Bethel Temple in Hampton, VA. The concept was informed by the book, The Starfish and the Spider: The Unstoppable Power of Leaderless Organizations, by Ori Brafman and Rod Beckstrom. Digital technology enabled the connection of isolated individuals and groups around designated prayer themes. Over several years, apathy towards prayer was overcome. Bethel Temple is now built on a solid foundation of prayer. I oversee prayer at the church using the DPN model. The vision to expand DPN to reach a global audience came in October 2014. DPN currently reaches a primarily international audience of over 10,000 followers and we are expanding. This audience is reached daily through Facebook, Instagram, my blog, and other web-based technologies. Technology allows DPN content to go into nations that are otherwise closed to the gospel. “And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.” -Matthew 24:14
